About Us
It is with pleasure that
we introduce ourselves as one of the oldest organizations associated
with the Indian Shipbuilding industry in the fields of marine insulation
and deck covering.
Our Chemico®
was the first deck covering to obtain Approval Certification
in 1957 from the Mercantile Marine Dept. of Govt, of India, for
Merchant Marine Ships constructed in India.
The industrial version of Chemico
flooring has been extensively laid in factories ofJohnson & Johnson
Ltd., Colgate-Palmolive Ltd, Birla Kennametal Ltd, Hindustan Lever
Ltd, Mahindra &Mahindra Ltd, Indian Aluminum Ltd. and many others.
These are some of the largest companies in India.
Our Syncolite®
flooring, which is a synthetic latex bound system, was developed
specially to meet the then requirements of the Indian Navy, with
whom, we have been associated for the past three decades. This composition
is laid directly on the steel plates without the necessity of welding
any anchoring lugs and hence, can be laid as thin as required.
Syncolite has been tested in
Germany and meets the Standards prescribed under IMO Resolutions
A 653 (16) and A 687 (17). It fulfills the requirements of IMO FTPC
Part 6. Further, it carries a permanent approval accorded by the
Director General of Shipping, Govt of India.
Syncolite is used by all leading
shipyards in India like Hindustan Shipyard Ltd, Cochin Shipyard
Ltd., Mazagon Docks Ltd. etc.
